Received a copy of Colvins bible and was looking at alternators. Looking at Bella's (see attached), it is stamped 2M6. Colvin does not list the "M" as a month. I think either the I or L was not used on engine assembly dates which would make"M" as the 12th month. If such, then 62/December/6th would be fitting as the car was built the 4th week of December (12D) Alternator #100628 is listed as 37A base 6 or 8 cyl. Has anyone else ran into this "M" date code?
