Valve covers

I attended the rockin race and I believe it was 2021 and met Carl and Steve and the rest of the guys at the race and Carl had a set of his valve covers for sale on the table he had made them and he said he would probably not be making another set so I went ahead and said I’ll have them….. i’m proud to own them.

Do the "current/new" Eddys look any different? Tried to compare your pics to ebay ones and nothing jumped out.

These were NOS original production Edelbrock VC's. I can see that they have more defects like pits and casting roughness between the ribs than the new ones I have seen.

The re-popped Eddys are different then the old ones. Can you spot the difference?

Yes

A couple of things,
The fins terminate with a different radius esp. at the script area.
The flange at the ends are larger on the new ones.
A cross section of a fin would reveal the draft on the fins is much larger on the new ones.
On the new covers, the abbreviated lower fins at the W, terminate on top, vs the old ones terminate much lower around the top contour.

Per the request to post my valve covers. The silver one I modfied and it’s on my 59.
