1939 with a 348 build. Just starting.

Yes, new guy to the forum.
I have a 1939 Master Deluxe Two Door Sedan.
Just glommed on to a RUNNING '58 348, after YEARS of hoping.
Plans are to do a 4 speed with underfloor pedals, keeping it old school(ish).
So far I just have the engine and trans in place.
Now to design and Fab all of the Alt, P/S and A/C brackets.
More to follow !
Appears I will have a fully functioning generator with power steering pump and a cast iron PG left over.

I made some brackets.
Starter question...
I have bolted the 348 straight to a scattershield.
Which starter should I use, the small nosed '69+/- Corvette style starter?
The upper starter kinda fits but the bolts are too long and the big lower unit must be for a later automatic.

you stated this -- "Now to design and Fab all of the Alt, P/S and A/C brackets"

All these brackets were made by GM and there are used ones for some of them plus everyone of the brackets you
listed are reproduced and sold by Show Cars Inc in New Ulm, Minnesota
. Show cars makes very nice 348 & 409 brackets
I have their reproduction factory air A-6 compressor 409 bracket on my 62 409 motor.
