1960 Pontiac Ventura

Picked up this 1960 Ventura 389 Hydro 80,734 miles today. All original local car purchased at the Pontiac dealership here in town. It has all of its original paperwork from purchase. Also I was lucky enough to find everything from one person to convert to stick minus the trany...

Dan, you and Tommy are neck and neck with nice cars I would love to own. My first car accident when I was 8 was in a 60 Pontiac, its my favorite year, and you're improving it with that clutch, IMHO.

When I got it home I took it for a ride around the block, about 3 miles. On the trip I passed a buddies place, about 1 minute later my phone rang asking if that was me in the 60 Pontiac...so, I turned around and went back. When I left I pulled out on the road and figured I would see what the ol gal had so I put her to the wood and she basted the right rear....The ol hydro really does have that low 1st... Not sure what gears she has in her but I know my 60' Ventura parts car had 3:08's. Will have to check the code on the pumpkin. I also scored another posi unit all rebuilt with new gears 3:70's.
