Didn't look like they were"drippers" as were on the 62 models. Might be they were 61 covers painted that way?

I didn't have unlimited access to the engine bay (or the entire vehicle for that matter) so I wasn't there to pick and poke. I'm sure we'd find a few things that appeared odd...

Either way I thought it to be an interesting build, very well done and a nice representation of that era .

Thanks Pat, that's what I recall the owner had claimed.

Dave, I was there for other reasons but one never knows. I suspect he would want Big Bucks for either car. He did indicate that he is "winding down" and was focusing on his Corvette collection, might be open to sell...
