Can anyone help decode any of these factory firewall markings? It's a Norwood built 1961 Nomad.image.jpg

It's my buddies project he has the trim tag off. Once the car is completely torn down the car is getting dipped.

A lot of times the same codes that are on the trim tag are marked on the firewall.. ACC codes on '61's are very difficult to decode because they changed from plant to plant...

They say "send your tailgate to 1961BelAir427" :D Seriously though, I think I've finally found one thanks to a tip from another member.

I wonder if Tommy will know what those markings mean? Please post up more on the project as it progresses if you can.

Looks like a couple of 4th graders doing their home work...:poke
All the marks on my car were I thick yellow crayon.

Maybe they used black so it would show up on the white car? Yellow wouldn't be very visible.

I'm sure they used what ever color crayon that was in arms length. Some of mine looked white as well but when scraped were yellow undernieth.
