This car is about 20 minutes from me, Cdn$65,000 is under $US50,000.

current owner I think inherited it, his uncle restored it before he died. The uncle was a machinist and had restored several cars including 57 bel air, a 57 Pontiac convertible, and was doing a 57 Nomad when he died.

Ad says it has a stock suspension even though it has those 14 inch wire wheels. I think the 348 is out of a 58, pretty sure it has a powerglide but don’t know if cast iron or aluminum. I haven’t seen the car up close, last time I saw it was about 10 years ago, it was still being restored.

Don, you are probably right about the 58 348.
Those valve covers are the one year only 1958 Chevy 348 valve covers.

Paul, this is the fellow I contacted you about who was looking for parts to convert it to a 4 speed, I guess he changed his mind.
