1961 Nomad tail lights

Did any 1961 nomad wagons ever have 6 taillights originally from the factory? I have seen several restored cars with the 6 taillights. Were the extra lights just added? Or did time of build year and build plant have anything to do with this???

No, All wagons including Nomad only had the one tail light in the tailgate. The vehicles that you have seen with two were obviously added.

Thanks, yep I built it sort of like a day 2 car.

On the tail lights I always thought the ones with 2 on each side looked empty. If that was how the Impalas were built I bet that would have been the standard, but Impalas had 3 and anything less was not finished in my mind. I did cut up a rusty deck lid to get the lights.

P.S.
It took me forever to find a trailer hitch. Finally located one in Wisconsin, the guy had to dig through stuff in the snow last year. When he found it and sent it to me I discovered it was made about 35 miles from me! Just brought it home LOL
