Way to go! It's no surprise that it'll need some tuning but once you get that sorted out she should run like a top.:beer

Hi everyone.. I just bought this 1961 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible and was thinking a 348 might look pretty good in it! maybe a tri-power too?

Nice ride there!!! 61 is by far my favorite 60's Pontiac big body!!! Next to the 58 Bonneville they kick butt!!!!

I'm going to try and find out if a 348 tri-power was an option in Canadian Parisienne's

Absolutely... however, only the 280 HP version
Guess the only step above a 58 Bonneville, would be the elusive 58 Parisienne:deal... just like a Bonneville, but the size of a 58 Impala:deal

I pulled the 327 out and installed a rebuilt 348-250 hp and 4 spd. I had problem with new fuel pump and finally got it running. So far it sounds great, can,t wait till spring.
Do you have any interest in another 62 pontiac, stroked Morneau 348 car ? think its priced resonably but not positive, i have not seen the car, have just been advised of one very close to London, Len
