Would anyone have any reference pics? I have the new Moebius 1961 Ventura model kit and would love to build this car. I have found the news report but the video they had is no longer there.

The car came from pontiac with the hi-po 389 then went to Ray Nichel's shop in IN. he did the intake, cam, heads and aluminum. bumpers ect. then shipped the car to Hughes Motors the Pontiac dealer in Burlington NC. the car was built in oct.of 60 the car was showing 14,000 miles and had a 1960 389 in it..not shure if it was the orig. motor.. the motor was built by Penske Racing in NC and had around 470hp.
'60 and earlier and '61> Pontiac blocks do not mount the same bell housings, the bolt patterns on the butt ends of the blocks (and the corresponding bell housings) are different, so when you state that the car had a '60 389 in it I'm assuming you mean a '61 model year 389 that was cast in '60, which all early ones were, as opposed to a '60 389 model year block. Just a point of minutia.
