Anniversary Gold was a color offering only during a few years of production. I know is was offered in '58 and then again in '62. Any of these models available in that color could be considered unique, but I wouldn't go far as to say rare. The color itself indeed has "charm", but sadly wouldn't necessarily add to it's market value. Hope this helps.

Probably the 63 anniversary gold would be considered more rare than the 62's.

1962 was Chevy's 50th year. 1963 commemorated the 50 millionth Chevrolet to roll off the assembly line. Not many of the gold 63 Impala's were built.

If I recall correctly, only 2 for every dealership? All of them had black interiors too.

I forget the whole story on these.

There is a lot of misinformation out there about these '62 gold cars. Apparently there was no limit to this 927 paint code. I know of at least 5 cars in my area in MN. I enjoy mine because of the unusual color but I am not aware of any special value for these cars. Leo

In 1966 I traded my 1962 Impala Anniversary Gold 4 door sports sedan on a 1966 Oldsmobile 442. That Impala had a black vinyl interior. I think I got $1,500 trae in for it.:deal

:crazy:cheers
