I bought new assembled side windows, 20% off memorial day sale...Now i go to install them and the pass side is noticeably LONGER than the drivers side...here i try to show the difference in a pixs, the glass is about 3/16" longer on the pass side... can't decide if the glass isn't fully seated into rear of metal frame or if the glass is just cut too long...having trouble adjusting the vent window forward enuf to accommodate it on pass side of car...hate to take the pair of them to our local glass shop and ask them to fix someone else's screw-up...
On the passenger side i drilled out the spot welds on the lower window channel and used (4) #10-32 countersunk screws with nuts behind because otherwise it is nearly impossible to install/remove the window. So now i really don't want to return it and it's too late to complain. Interestingly, the drivers side window assy already was converted to screw mounted channel from the factory with (2) poorly countersunk screws.
On the window felts, i assume the clips should align with the rectangle cut-outs in door ledge, but as you can see in this pixs, they don't...i think if the clips snap into cut-out in door ledge they will stay put.....

Actually the spring steel metal clips are embedded into the rubber-backed metal base and have sharp tabs that crimp around that metal. i believe undoing them would destroy them. The brand is repops and interestingly, on the driver's side the clips appear to align correctly.
