Tom and James,
Let me know clearance from the carbs to the bottom of a factory hood
when you get that far.
I remember being told when I got my M/T that low profile air cleaners will fit.

I have a M/T to install on my 409 stroker motor in my blue 62 SS 409 Hardtop and I would like to keep
the stock hood.

Just saw this post. The rear end is coming together faster than the front suspension :) :) :).

Time to reorient my priorities?

Wow I am getting old, it's been some time since I last made any progress on the '62 Biscayne project :(.

I did add a set of Mike's disk brakes on the front and messed around on the interior a bit. Still a long way to go. Spent some time end of year thinking of priorities and this one has to make the list. Here's a shot of the left side as I install the door panels and hardware:

Still need to glue those little Belair inserts onto the panels. While it's a Biscayne model, the interior is mainly Belair patterns. I went with the Biscayne door handles and such thought. Kind of a mixture of pieces from that era:

Hope to have more updates as I kick things in gear for 2022 :).

Cheers! TomK
