He said z11 package but wasn't that stuff for 62 strictly over the counter parts?
Really, really rare.
And the water pump was pre-production and has an O- part number if I remember correctly.
I built that engine. 409 shortblock with Z-11 top half.
I really liked this car.
For that specific car it was all over the counter, a friend of mine helped to put the aluminum front end on it.
Special Service Package parts. All pre-Z-11, if the casting numbers on all the engine parts you see on that car do not begin with “0”, then they are not correct. Anything else is a Z-11 production part which was for 1963 only.
