My interior is a light blue and my carpet is dark blue and my dash is dark blue? Doesn’t seem factory, it is a bel air 2dr sedan......

I guess the carpet doesn’t match the drapes?:judges:lol

Dashes not matching carpet or even seats is typical in 61 to 64 Chevy's.
Factory dashes were painted with flat paint (not gloss) and every original car I have seen the dash did not match
the carpet. Dashes also did not necessarily match the seat color. My blue and red dashes in my cars are darker than the carpet and seats.
Padded dashes did not match the factory dash paint in factory original cars

I have a list of colors for interior dashes using 4 different companies that made the paint - The lists are
GM dash paint codes from these paint companies from 59 to 64. The lists were published in a Late Great Chevy magazine 20 + years ago and I printed the pages to refer to for dash paint for my 62's
The paint codes are old codes using Lacquer paint or enamel paint and have to be crossed to
paint used today.

What’s your thoughts keep it original or do something different?
