Dig that exhaust!!!:mock
Those are my good guys/ Friday night cruise tips. 3 inch mandrel bent side exit (meant for flame throwers later). Torque fest here in Iowa has a big flame thrower contest each year and people bring out all kinds of fun set-ups. Won't have these on much because my boys are supposed to be going to shows with me in it and its way to loud with them on. :D

Love your 64 wagon:good Reasons for 65 is the chassis for fitment of a Gearvendors, they look cool and were the last year of the 409. No kidding, if I had the coin I'd run a Mist Blue/white roof with racks 65 Impala wagon 600+inch Z-12 topped 09 N/A street/strip 1000hp running high 8's :D
You provide the 1000hp and I'll provide the wagon! View attachment 90446

‘65 was an amazing year for GM. All makes all models. Absolutely love 65 full-size Chevys. There’s a 65 Biscayne and a 65 Bel Air for sale here locally right now, both 2-doors, both bone original project cars. I’m droolin’ over em but I’m already drowning in junk. HATE that I can’t save em all.:cryblow

Post more pics of your 65 from its racing days! What are you gonna put in that engine bay??

Richmond 6 speed with overdrive ? With Long 6 speed shifter?
The reason I ask is I am using Richmond 5 speeds ( with Hurst 5 speed shifters) in 2 of my 62’s and just purchased a Richmond 6 speed with a Long 6 speed shifter, so looking at fit in my 62’s

Nope. Aged Doug Nash 5 spd crash box (no syncros). 3.07 1st 1 to 5th. Yes Long shifter.
