Very thin sheet-metal. I had a tough time mounting them because the holes were off.
Also, after it had been on the car for a while I had a rainstorm. The black primer that was on the fenders was water-based or something. It left a whole bunch of streak marks in the primer. Also, the black primer quickly faded. I have now re-primered both of the fenders.
Lesson learned:
Stick with the original parts!
