2 spd wiper switch 1998712

Located a new old stock wiper switch part number 1998712 on Ebay. Seller says it fits up to 62 but looks identical to my fried one from the 64. Can someone check this part number and see if it is the same as the 64 or give me a reason why it won't work in a 64. Thanks Walt

The part number according to the assembly manuals; for '63 is #1993543 and '64 is #1998729. They are not saying whether these are single speed or 2 speed though so not much help I guess but thought I'd throw it out there???

Wiper Motor Switches

Walt and Bob: We learn something new everyday. Switches are as follows. 59-64 w/single speed, w/o washer (1998729). 59-63 w/ single speed and washer (1993541). 1964 single speed with washer (1993642). 1964 two speed with washer 1993643). Clear As Mud. Hope this helps Skip

w ogden, you can look at one at www.luttyschevy.com then catalogs page 122 it is a two speed +washer for a 63 $54.00 it may be the same
