Saw somewhere today about 2009 Thompson. Last night I saw this 409 Mile Marker setting up against the basement wall so I decided to take some pictures of it. Fortunately, or unfortunately ,
there are signed names on the sign of loved ones who are no longer with us. Brian Thompson, Ronnie Russell, Garry Gostinenk, Raymore 58454 and
Allen George. All great names that are no longer with us. I believe that 2009 was the year because of my surgery that I called Cecil and asked him to get a sign and have everyone sign it. He even stopped by my shop on his was back to Phoenix. That was really nice of him. I've had this hung on the wall of my front desk from that to the last day.
I consider this sign as an very important past of the 409 Forum. So I'm going to turn it over to a very dear friend.....Denny Ford. Met Denny at 1984 Indy Super Chevy and he has been a dear friend ever since. Denny can hang it in his shop for everyone to see. Denny has Bo as a backup care taker.
Looking at this sign there are men we love and admire!!! 348-409 GIANTS!!!!!!! We'll all get together up there!!!!!!

Wow, that was a great flashback!

I think that might have been the year Brian Thompson unveiled his 1962 Impala "bubbletop" with a 1961 Catalina top grafted onto an Impala SS car.

Was that the same year Ryan Ferguson was on site showing us his wooden "buck" for hammering out a set of 1962 aluminum fenders?

Yes Tom correct on Brian’s 62 Impala “bubbletop” at that Thompson. I haven’t forgotten his comfy passes with windows down and vents cranked. So I am posting this photo.
