There is some crazy money being spent at the auction.I saw an 80 pinto that went to 7000, and get this,it didn’t hit the reserve.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess:dunno2
Do you mean that 70 Pinto wasn’t a pile of rust ? The one I had (only F—d I have a owned) rusted out before the warranty was even finished.

A good friend's car went though the auction Sunday.
Red 59 ragtop.
345/315 14000 miles
origanal, paint,top and interior.
Just as it was after he bought it new.
$151,250.
Best guy ever.
RIP Tommie.

I had one like your friends 59 315 HP tri power solid lifter 348 convertible with a 4 speed
I wish had a engine picture of my 59. I drag raced it at Sioux City Dragway in 1964 in E/S (E-Stock)

I did not keep my time slips, and don’t remember.
I think I only had the 59 for one year.
From 1957 to 1968 I had about 20 -1949 to 1964 cars. It helped to have father with a used car lot.....
