Picked up a 327 small journal engine with numbers of H246 and TO825HO. Came with 462 heads H176. Can anyone tell me the horsepower rating from these numbers??
With the Date Code of H246 (August 24th, 1966) you have a '67 327/300 from a Corvette. If the Heads are original (Date Codes match), your 327 has 300 HP. Engine came with a Powerglide Trans by the way.
HO would be Corvette but Tonawanda assembled engines were not used in Corvettes in production so I suggest you recheck the suffix. More likely HC from Tonawanda.
