Ok guys, it’s been way too long getting updates posted!
Unfortunately this got pushed back! Grandsons school, sports, then the covid mess, etc.
Anyway here are some photos of the latest progress. Most of the work has been welding, cutting, studying. Al has done a great job and the boys come by when they can.

Very Nice!! I had to chuckle when you mentioned studying. When I built the chassis for my Nova there would be days I would sit on a chair and study the bottom of my car (on its side on a rotisserie) figuring out the details. Its obveous the end result is well worth the time spent STUDYING!!!!

Thanks everyone.

This really is a great project.

Amazing how much wood was in these cars.

Al figured out how to remove the “B” pillar wood and replace it with 3 reinforced overlapping metal strips and stamped holes in them for strength.

The roll bar fits neatly behind that.

Here is the first roll bar installed. You can see the “B” pillar in the back.
