It depends upon which year 348 truck year block you're wanting to use.The 58-81 model year truck blocks had two notches in the combustion chamber.One of our members just installed 10.5 cast pistons in a double notched truck block and ,using the 817[340hp 409]car head and a decent quench area and it came out at just under 9-1.If your truck block is from a 62 or later,then the compression would be the same as any 348 car block.What have you got going on here?
