Thanks La Hot Rods I appreciate the offer & Toms63ssqd for the info. Think I will break down and buy the adapter. Use the oil primer I have. I do have a 62 Bubbletop with a 409 that has to be assembled will need to use a primer at least one more time. Thanks guys
Just wanted to say thanks for everyones input. I purchased the adapter from showcars and used my priming tool . It took forever....... Had to prime it for a while and turn the engine several times priming in between to get them all to prime . First put a gauge in the front oil port, had zero pressure without the adapter, 70 psi after. Ive built several engines , 348-409 I guess are just a little different ! Thanks for the help guys !
