For all you "anti-Fox News" folks, none of this information came from
Fox. All of it can be verified from legitimate sources (Wikipedia, the
Kapiolani hospital website itself, and a good history book, as noted
Herein). It is very easy for someone to check out.
4 Simple Questions .....
1. Back in 1961 people of color were called 'Negroes’. So how can the
Obama 'birth certificate' state he is "African-American" when the term
Wasn't even used at that time ?
2. The birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama's
Birth as August 4, 1961 and Lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father.
No big deal, Right? At the time of Obama's birth, it also shows that
His father is aged 25 years old, and that Obama's father was born in "Kenya, East Africa".
This wouldn't seem like anything of concern, except the fact that
Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama's
Birth, and 27 years after his father's birth. How could Obama's father
Have been born in a country that did not yet Exist ?
Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the "British
East Africa Protectorate". (check it below)

3. On the Birth Certificate released by the White House, the listed
Place of birth is "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital".
This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were
Called "KauiKeolani Children's Hospital" and "Kapi'olani Maternity
Home", respectively.
The name did not change to Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological
Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this
Particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961
If this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978?

4. Perhaps a clue comes from Obama's book on his father. He states how
Proud he is of his father fighting in WW II. I'm not a math genius, so
I may need some help from you. Barack Obama's "birth certificate" says
His father was 25 years old in 1961 when Obama was born. That should
Have put his father's date of birth approximately 1936 - if my math
Holds (Honest! I did that without a calculator!) Now we need a
Non-revised history book-one that hasn't been altered to satisfy the
Author's' goals-to verify that WW II was basically between 1939 and
1945. Just how many 3 year olds fight in Wars? Even in the latest
Stages of WW II his father wouldn't have been more than 9 years old.
Does that mean that Mr. Obama is a liar, or simply chooses to alter
The facts to satisfy his imagination or political purposes ?

I wished I could say something that would make a difference in any of this. The sad thing is the Obama supporters don't care if any of it is true. They don't care if most of the things their opposition says is true. They don't care even if it means the downfall of this country. They have their party, and they are going to stick to it regardless of any truth or facts. The sad thing about that is that it looks like the Republicans are doing the same. We have a country that is about equally divided. The branches of government are no longer separate to insure the best outcome of our society. The hate between the two parties seems to be impassible. It is truly a sad state of affairs. I often "try" to tell my liberal co-worker / office mate, that Obama could have squashed most of the problems concerning his citizenship, and college records by just putting them out there. However he didn't. In fact he refused too. So even if any or all of the above is wrong, it doesn't matter. Obama has kept this going through his own ignorance. And of course anyone that questions anything about him is a racist. How the F can that be? What basis is the racist card played with Obama? How can anyone be called a racist for disagreeing with his policies? Can anyone tie any of his stupidity to racism? However, that is the state of our society. Split and divided, executive orders, political assassinations ( job wise ) and massive hate from the left that claims to be the party of inclusion ( unless you disagree with them ) You would think that if any or all of the aforementioned above was true, everyone would want him out. Just like the IRS issues. Everyone should want it taken care of. After all, things like the IRS are allowed to happen, then what to the left think is going to happen when the right gets power? And that too should never happen. I guess people are just too full of hate to realize that tomorrow is another day, and their turn will come.

3. The hospital name on the birth certificate is correct, and is the name by which the hospital was known from 1931 to 1971. It acquired its current name, the Kapi'olani Center for Women and Children, in 1978.

4. This point apparently originated with whoever first put together the chain e-mail. Nowhere in either "Dreams From My Father" nor "The Audacity of Hope" does Barack Obama say anything about "his father fighting in WW II." You'd have to read the books yourself for this one.

If it is legitimate, I will support it, and I have seen it first hand, however most of the time it is just an excuse for lack of personal ambition, responsibility for their actions, or bad parenting. As for Obama, no one will ever be able to call me a racist and get away with it. Has nothing to do with his skin color. Besides, he has a white mother. Therefore, being that we all know that whites are fair game these days ( as well as officers of any color or race ( black is not a race )) I am insulting his policies based on the white part of him. I couldn't agree with you more Jeff. As far as vetting by the press and other media the current president has always been hands off. I don't give a crap about the birther deal, I want to see documents from his college years. Why are they sealed?
Hardly anyone speaks about it, but how many white single women were screwing black married men back in the 60's ? We used to call the result a mulatto........

On another note, if someone's point of view upsets a person, there is an ignore feature that can used.
