So what does everyone think about the 409 price?? I know to purchase my 409 short block, additional used parts, new parts and machine work, my cost exceeded that $4950.00 quite well, Carmine.

Assuming it's done correctly that is a good value. The major components alone could be worth the asking price. Plus you get the chance to purchase his SS car:

"Also will be willing to sell the 1962 Impala SS project as a package deal with this engine."

I'd like to see some pictures of both .
