409 intake question

I am changing my intake on a 409 400hp. Do you need to put thread sealer on the intake manifold bolts?

Look at the heads you are using. Any bolt holes that go thru, I would use sealer. Blind holes I would use a couple drops of motor oil.

Just like head bolts, I seal them all. I like the fact of using the same process on all bolts being torqued on an item. Same sealer on all bolts equates to the same torque on all the bolts. Might be a bit of overthinking it, but I have always done it that.
