Don, Nova told me there wasn’t one smaller to fit the holes for block mount. Apparently there is. I’ll use the one I bought that matches for now. I can change it later if I want

And the mini db one is a lot lighter so easy to work with so it doesn't drop and smack you in the forehead

I have had a couple mini's fail over the years. I took one apart a few years ago that had failed, don't remember the brand. Anyway it was geared with a sun gear, planetary gears and a outer ring gear. The outer ring gear was plastic and was missing teeth. This starter came off the 454 in my 71 K10 pickup. Has anyone else had one apart?
