I had post a while back about building a Tunnel Ram for my 481 build.
I must say that it turned into a 100 plus hour project. I am pretty happy with the results. I am not a professional welder by any means, but did manage to learn a lot more about welding Aluminum than I ever thought I needed to.
I started with a cracked 2x4 intake and a Offenhouser 383 intake. People are always talking about port angles and it ispretty evident why. I purchased a set of heads from Bob Walla and realized that the intake ports could be raised. I decided 5/8th of an inch would work. Here are a few pics.
