For sale - Recently freshened 482 cid passenger car x block 409. Engine is bored .060 over and has a new Eagle 454 crank and rods in it. Was recently line bored and balanced. 700 inch lift roller cam. New roller tip rockers with screw in studs and guide plates on ported and polished 690 heads. Chrome valve covers with breather ports. New timing chain setup. New SFI rated harmonic balancer. New Pertronix distributor with brass gear for the roller cam. Intake valley screens installed. Welded 1/2 409 1/2 big block oil pan with deep sump. Currently sitting as a long block, but also have a single 4 barrell factory intake or dual 4 barrell factory intake with 750 cfm Edelbrock carbs available. No water pump, no starter, no accessories, no flywheel or flex plate. We acquired the engine a while ago from Gary Harmon, it ran in his 63 Chevy Pro Mod car, we ran consistent 11.0's in our car at 3,800 lbs with a 4 speed. Old dyno sheets were 550-575hp.
