Haven't gotten a lot done since I got this back in August but some progress is better than none. I've spent a bit of money gathering new parts. The 67 327 I was going to put in it may not be runnable as I thought it would be. I pulled the old 68 Chevelle 327 that was in it and it is all locked up so now its a choice of building a 265 or 283 or just installing the old new 95 350 crate engine I bought it about 20 years ago as a replacement for my 89 truck engine but never installed it. The only issue with using it is that I plan to run 2x4's and old corvette finned valve covers and don't want to put breather holes in them since I want to preserve the old look. My other option is one of my built 409 short blocks and E heads.....still mulling over that one.
Been concentrating on dissassembly and rebuild of the front suspension with new tubular A arms and disc brakes (thanks to Mike Garcia). Next priority is stripping and painting the firewall and inner fenders so that when the engine goes in it won't have to come out again later to pretty it up.
