58 Radiator support mounting

Hey guys, Would someone mind sharing what goes between the frame and the support? I have the new hardware kit but figure there needs to be some form of a bushing there as well. I am ready to put the support on and need this info to proceed. Thanks for reading and any help would be appreciated.

Not sure on 58's but if it's the same as my 63, nothing goes in between them. It's metal to metal.

My 58 has shims between the radiator support and the fender to align the fenders. This is the only thing that is there. Yeah I just went out and looked and just shims. Roy

Thanks guys!! Just the info I was looking for. Seemed like a bushing should have been there. That is the reason for questions I reckon.

The factory assembly manual is a great investment. It will answer many questions like this and in some cases provide correct part numbers.
