I'm trying to gage interest in a group purchase for these sequential led tail lights:
https://www.dapperlighting.com/coll.../1959-chevy-impala-sequential-led-tail-lights

Currently, these are only made for the one piece 59 tail light. However, I would like a set for my El Camino.

Since they aren't made for the wagon or El Camino, the company has two approaches for making them as a sellable product. One is for the first customer to pay 2k for the initial product to cover engineering costs. Or, a group purchase can be organized where the cost is brought down to a more reasonable $250 - $300 range. At least this is the info they gave me to start with.

While I don't have more details, I thought I'd try to gage interest in this tail light setup. I do have an email out to the company asking for more details.

Let me know if there is interest and I will pass along more info as I receive it.

Cut the board in two and jumper them.
Probably not that easy, especially if it is a multi layer board. While it is already a two piece board, both are too large for the split wagon style. Depending on the board layout, trimming them may cut off a controller for one of the patterns. It crossed my mind it could be that easy, but given the flash patterns in the video on the web page, I doubt it. However, I would expect 90% of the hard work is already done. And what would be left is rearranging the circuit board to accommodate the smaller size and the second input pig tails.
With 8 flash patterns, these are more sophisticated than these:

If anyone has interest, please reach out to Dapper Lighting.

Here is the info I have from them, in short, this will probably happen:
You can certainly send interested folks my direction. My personal email is Derek@dapperlighting.com if they want to reach me directly. If we get enough interested folks we can continue to coordinate as we go through the process.

One set will include both driver and passenger side lights.
