If you've spent any time reading your Shop Manual looking for info on how to service the AFB on your 300/305/320/340 hp W engine, you may have wondered why there was nothing in the manual concerning the carb.
Yeah, you're exactly right, I, too was kept up at night wondering the exact same thing and determined not to rest until I had solved the problem.
Well I finally came into posession of the answer......13 pages of sexy, sensuous Carter tech reproduced here for your private viewing and pleasure. Be careful not to get drool or other stains on the pages. You too, Phil.
BTW I also have the manual for the early AFB's used on the late 58 and the 59 300/305/320 hp engine too, which I already posted some time ago, but then everybody probably forgot that.....or maybe, just weren't interested.
Anyway, The existence of this TSB tells me that there is another one covering the 61 409 3270S carb, but I haven't found it yet.....still looking though.
