61 Biscayne project

I already had a 61 Biscayne but was too rough to save,so I picked this one up in Pennsylvania, doors,hood ,trunk lid and trunk pan/floor have no rust issues, minor work needed in the quarters and rockers,will need new floor pan,this is the "new" platform for my resto,the other one will be the donor car. The car will be white with either a blue or red interior,348 4 speed,I will keep posting as work progresses,I am new to this site and it is one of the best I have ever been on.

[Dean's 61 bubble]

looks like what i used to call fawn beige. I had a 61 impala 2 dr. sedan originally that color and always kicked myself for painting it red, or maybe that was wayyy later and i decided it would have LOOKED great in its original color. Anyway, it ended up on the cover of Sep. 99 issue of Late Great Chevy.....wish i still had it, Dean

Just put my other car away for the winter,I think it is getting jealous of it's new room mate thou!
