I'm looking up the insanely priced vent window seals for a 2 or 4 door sedan.
Also trying to figure out what to do with the fuzzie channel part? I'm guessing I will have to make it one piece all the way down?

Yes the factory used 2 pieces on 2 doors, 2 door hardtops and convertibles

You buy one piece chrome beaded channels (36 inches long) like these:
Ecklers (need to check that they have the chrome beaded edges on both sides
https://www.lategreatchevy.com/full-size-chevy-vent-window-frame-channels-vertical-1958-1962.html

Here is the same thing at Show Cars Part # 6355 (one channel only -need two) -these have chrome beaded edges
https://www.show-cars.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=6355

Use screws and hex nuts lock washers to replace the rivets in the channels.

I figured I could do the one piece. I should have waited. Maybe I will send the two piece ones I bought back.
Eckler's has the sedan door window channel on the same page in my catalog I got last week.

I would send it back.
Does it have a chrome bead on both sides like the originals ? Its hard enough to do the vent window rubbers and channel without doing two pieces with a joint in the middle of the felt channel.

I have the screw sizes I used for the chrome beaded felt channel -they are flat headed philips screws that are embedded in the felt of the channel, when they are tightened with the hex nuts. The glass will not hit the heads of the screws.

Check your vent window controls to see if they need repair -the plates on the back of the vent controls can push off the rivets. The rivets are replaced my screws (I have pictures).

Also another thing I learned from trying to use Fargo brand vent window vertical pieces with the C shaped weatherstrip is that this brand does not fit the vent window glass (it leaves a gap on the entire length of the glass. Fargo brand is junk.

This listing from Steele Products of window seals and weatherstrip all in one place helps to review the various parts. I do not see a chrome beaded felt for the vent windows.

I just hope the fuel pump relays last a while. Panels are fairly easy to remove. Hold them selves in no fasteners needed.
