Checked my main berings clearance last night.
Starting from rear main to front I got,
.0030, .0017, .0021, .0023, .0023.
Is the .0017 a concern? It right on the edge of what is supposed to be minamal clearence. I did not check the rear with the oil pump installed. I read it should be.
Going to check my rods tonight.

I put one rod together with the berings. I have .0010" clearence 90 degrees from the seam but on an angle I get .0022".

I checked a different one and it was the same way. Would crush have something to do with it and the way the rod is designed for what is it deflection?

Is there any bevel on the inside edge at the parting line?
Maybe adding some would help, it would help get oil to the sides of the rods.
