A couple of mechanical issues; 4 speed difficult from reverse to first and gas pedal too close to the floor - some adjustments needed. Otherwise very satisfied.

Thanks for all the nice comments and likes. It was a decent car to start with, but as we got into it, there were some surprises. lots of blocking, missing or defective parts, ( I bought some from the guys on this site ). Many 61 Impala parts are hard to come buy, so if you do one, make sure it is mostly complete. I agree with Don Jacks about the air cleaners, but for my purpose it looks cool. Even with this set up there should be more power so I have to work on that. Larry
