Got a few more bits painted. :good

Blasted the hood hinges and thought I would like to remove the springs so I could paint and detail them. This isn't a 100 point restore so the parts will be painted not plated.
Trying to figure out how to remove the hood springs I cam up with this idea.
I used a piece of 3/4 threaded rod , some 1 inch tube and some plate scraps.
Works good, wish I had made the tabs a little longer though.

Cool tool James. If you paint it, you could compete with Bob for the tool of the month.
We made a tool for removing the hood springs on one of Mike's 62 restorations. But I don't remember what it looks like. :wacko
