62 Impala rustoration: We're going to try and save another one

20170129_094400.jpg 20170129_094329.jpg Mike and I moved a '62 he had "in storage" in the woods on his property to the spot next to his garage where his bubble top used to reside (the bubble top is now in he garage). The plan is to start the metal work this summer after I finish up a few air cleaners and he finishes his bubble top. We'll see how that goes.

What's that strange white stuff on the ground?
That's the F#@$ing remains of the 2 1/2" of freezing rain/ snow that we got last week. We didn't have any issues with traction on the tow vehicles, but it's really slippery to walk on, Mike had his ice fishing cleats so he didn't have too much of a problem. I hate to complain about the snow since we are having another a mild winter so far this season. I probably shouldn't have typed that, now we're in for it.:crazy

I think the 3 we had passed in the 12-16 ish range. 38 is the worlds record I think. Can you imagine that? How attached you would get in 38 years.
