Hot damn, just got a couple pictures sent to me by the restoration fairy. The under side of the roof has been cleaned, wire brushed and primed. Woo hoo!

Mike and I removed the front end, doors and engine to facilitate the floor removal/replacement process.
Majority of the floors are out. Need to drill out all of the spot welds along the toe board and cut out the inner rockers and some other rust and start welding in some patches before I can weld the inner rockers on.
Sure brings back memories. Been there, done that! I think mine was in worse shape...
My 63 SS was worse also. After four full floor replacements, this one is average.
Are you keeping this car or going to sell ?
The plan right now is to sell it after I drive it for a year or so. But we'll see. It may depend on what engine I come up with. If it ends up with a 409, I may have to keep it.

Started a pattern for the driver front rocker panel end piece. Certainly won't be perfect, but it should work.
