63 Hood Lip smooth no Chevrolet ?

Anyone know where a 63 hood lip that is smooth with no Chevrolet logo would have come from? Have a friend asking where I got mine because he wants a plain one and he is considering having one flattened out.

That looks really nice, I would get one also if I could find one. The one we have has a big gouge in it.

Definitely aftermarket. My guess would be that at one time someone made them without Chevrolet so they didn't have to pay royalty for trademark. Probably non existant new now.
