They have a "big block" series mufflers? I just love how the gross generalized description of the mufflers on Holley's website don't actually explain anything about the mufflers in any specific detail. They could have said "more flow inside the muffler for more performance (over factory) but not loud" and I would have gotten as much from that. Hey, anything to sell a muffler.

The 50 Series Big Block muffler is made for more than just big cubic inch engine applications. Its large case size with internal tuning chamber provides mileage and power gains along with maximum sound control for a quiet interior tone, even under heavy loads. Well suited to heavy duty vehicles such as full size trucks, SUV's, RVs, and tow vehicles. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.
Features:
  • Improved Horsepower, Torque and Engine Efficiency
  • Recommended for SUV/trucks/motorhomes/tow vehicles
  • Minimal interior resonance
  • Mild to stock exterior exhaust tone

I am running the flowmaster 40 series on mine. I had thought about going to the 50's, however I think I will stay with what I have for now. I would post an audio, however I don't have an account with youtube. Sure wish there was a way to put it right on this site.

So, I've been playing around with a pair of forged steel genuine suspension balljoint spacers. The main thing I like is that I can really dial in my camber settings at ride height. It was maxed out prior and still cambered out alot at the top. With these I was able to turn them and bring the top of the tire in. Now before anyone says anything, these have tapered bolts that lock the spacer in like a balljoint. They're not going to move. Especially at 90 ft lbs of torque. I do understand why people stopped using them as early ones were aluminum and broke. So on another note, lol this is how high it'll go as of right now. My jack topped out. 20210208_165154.jpg

Well, it's been awhile since I've given an update. I drove the car once. Noticed valvetrain noise. Went to check and found a bunch of rocker arms were trying to bind up. Turns out the rockers I had were not good for high spring pressures. Did my homework, now I have the correct pushrod lengths, and crower centerline rocker arms. Just waiting for the other 8 rockers to be shipped so I can get the car back together. The car was a beast when it wasn't right. I can only imagine what it's going to be like now that it will be correct .

Awesome! I had my 49/425 ‘63 set up like yours for awhile: headlights out with flex tubing to air cleaner snouts and rear raised hood (also raised entire hood with 3” spacers front and rear). Motor loved all the air I could give it.
