This is the wiper motor that I removed from my 63 SS. Is this a one year only part, one speed or two speed wiper motor?[[URL=http://s119.photobucket.com/user/63409/media/04E0F942-D13A-4D9B-8A54-44E87128B37A.jpg.html]

That is a 2 speed wiper. The single speed motors are completely different looking and have an all steal housing. Sorry no picture.

I believe the motor was 63-64 only fitting several other GM vehicles of those two years. That's per the NAPA catalog and buyers guide.

Okay,I just took a picture of my white 63 Fire wall and it has a single speed wiper motor. It does look different than the one I took off my 63 SS which will take me forever to restore but that's the fun of it. Trying to restore this car back correctly can sure make you learn a lot about these beautiful cars.

I have had 2 63 Impalas and Bel Air with single speed wipers. They all had this style single speed wiper motor:100_2753.JPG 100_2754.JPG 100_2755.JPG

That style is on my 66 Chevelle but it's a 2 speed with washers. (washer pump can be added to these because the shaft protrudes out the top by the terminals to operate it)
