That is my goal. It had a repaint many years ago long before I got it. At some point, I would love to take it back to Glacier Gray and Slate interior. This whole Corona thing has put a skip in my giddy up. I work for myself so no telling what the future holds. I will figure it out like I always have.

Joe, in any conversation or paperwork on the car, did anyone mention replacing that radiator? I am not an expert 409 person by any means. Most people here have forgotten more than I know. However I have been questioning to myself if the radiator is original :dunno I thought it should have the Harrison dimples in the top reservoir, and humps on both sides. Just curious as the car is beautiful and something like that is trivial in the big picture.

Funny that you ask. I was questioning the radiator myself. The guy I bought it from said it was original. I took it to the radiator shop I use and he said it is a Harrison and believes it to original. We did a complete re-core for that reason. He is a 409 guy too. I have no way to be certain other than that. It does appear to be correct and is a Harrison. Someone may know of some other ways to identify though

Jeff...the hex indents were for 1962 only. They left them off for 63 and later.
I'm just so excited about you moving here!!!!!!
Phil, I just want to clarify, 1962 was the only year the hex's were on the radiators for 409 cars from the factory?

Jeff....what did I say?????????
Apparently enough :D I was under the impression they were on more. Someone, whom shall remain nameless told me different. Or maybe I just misunderstood their comments when they seen the hex stamps on my radiator. :dunno Oh well, live and learn, we all cant be from the show me state. And I have been shown :good
