Hi everybody, I found this site because I have been working ion my 65 for over seven years. In that amount of time you can change your mind alot. The LT1 with the 4L60 I bought is going on ebay and i am going to start to looking for a w- Block http://www.348-409.com/forum/images/smilies/dunno.gif
:dunno. I am thinking of connecting it to a T56 6 speed, just to be a little different.

Nice project you've got going on there. The 1965 "W" install is pretty specific for that year, and they are fairly scarce. Let us know if you are looking for 1965-specific parts for your build.

Good luck on your project. You've already made a great call in choosing to install the vintage 409 engine :).

I recently heard that there may be a certain L-31 out there that would look really sweet between those fender wells :brow

Lou (Rockfish) knows all the details about what is needed to "recreate" the 1965 409 engine in the 1965 fullsize Chevy frame :).
