Building this as a driver. It'll be a frame-on restoration. And here's what happens when you get in a hurry and don't wear your welding gloves. I nearly lost my finger.
BE SAFE!

It's a 72. I slid under to tack weld the inner rocker I made and as I did, thought to myself I better grab my gloves... oh I'm just going to tack it in place. Buzz goes the mig and a piece of slag fell and welded itself to my wedding ring. Immediately knowing I had to get the ring off I soaped up and slid it off and the skin came with it. A skin graft and several months later it was good as new.

When I started as an electrician I had a high school ring on and was lacing up a new service panel that was energized. I had a hot wire touch my ring that was grounded to the panel can, luckily the circuit breaker tripped before the ring got hot and I have never wore a ring since. Rings are for people who have a desk job HA, Im sure I'll get hammered on that.

Three phase 12500 to 600 DC. The 12500 scared the hell out of my. The 600 didn’t. Did my best to stay on the 600 side of transformers. That side doesn’t jump.

0 - 500k although we basically really didn't work much to at all on anything above 21K, however 12 and 21 was daily. 4K was on the very old stuff and very limited. We called 3 phase 480 the killing voltage. That stuff locks you in. The higher not so much.

I didn’t like any of the A/C stuff. I stayed with the DC most. Didn’t like being near the other at substations.

I worked with 480 and down although we did do high voltage also i.e. 4160, & 13800 but usually you would have the guys that worked with the higher voltage frequently do the work as they new all the techniques. I always considered anything 480 and down to be low voltage. I was never hit with 480 but got it a few times with 277 and that was bad enough.
