I looked at this 64 in about 2000 when it was in Bladensburg, IA. It has a 400hp 409 that, I believe, was sourced from Phil. The story I got was the original owner was an older lady that traded in her '37 Chevy and wanted another car with a floor shift. Well, in 1964 the only thing available was a 4 speed so she got a 250hp 327 4 speed Impala. A family member ended up with the Impala in the 1980s and eventually put the 409 in it and I believe that's where Phil comes in to the picture! The man that had it when I saw it got it from the family member. There once was a plaque on the dash with the original owner's name but it's now gone. The adhesive is still by the dash speaker.
