Looks like someone rear ended the hauler. They cut the roof of which means someone had a bad boo boo.

Oh man what a bummer:( why couldn't that've been a 4-door sedan...

If I were a fireman I'd have a hard time cutting the roof off that thing...I'd find another way in. Yeah, I know that sounds terrible, but that car was primo!!

Looks to me like it was a ragtop? Usually when they jaws of life the roof off it isn't that smooth or close to the rear quarters.

It (was) a bubbletop Jeff. No mistaking that quarter glass still up on the passenger's side. :cry

Looks like the driver may have been harpooned by the steering column. We had a conversation about that very issue recently. Seems having the steering box located behind the bumper isn't such a good idea after all! That photo has been around for quite a while. Is there any way of get a date?

Don't a lot of guys put collapsible columns in now?
