When I was a kid, we did this kind of things all the time. I grew up dirt poor, so pulling vehicles out of yards and fields, etc, was normal. We traveled around and would tell people we will give them junk yard prices, which was about $25-50 dollars for cars then. It was always funny to see people faces when we would drive them out. My stepdad and growing up poor was a great education in the automotive field.

Typical small block Chevy, 50 years in the sticks and ran smooth. My kind of people, and that includes the tree guys.
